Introduction

• Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress is the flagship scheme of Delhi Government.
• The main objective behind starting this scheme is to provide financial security to deprived women of Delhi.
• Women and Child Development Department of Delhi Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress is also called "Delhi Widow Pension Scheme " or "Delhi Financial Assistance Scheme for Women in Distress".
• There are 5 category of women are eligible for monthly pension under Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress which are :-
  • Divorced Women.
  • Widow Women.
  • Destitute Women.
  • Abandoned Women.
  • Separated Women.
• Only above mentioned category women are eligible to get monthly pension under this scheme.
• Government of Delhi will provide monthly financial assistance to all eligible women fall under above mentioned category as a monthly pension.
• Rs. 2,500/- monthly pension will be provided to eligible women beneficiaries under Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress.
• The annual income of family of women beneficiary should not be more than Rs. 1,00,000/- per year.
• Government of Delhi provides facility of both Online and Offline Application Procedures to beneficiaries to apply for monthly pension under Delhi Finanical Assistance Scheme for Women in Distress.
• Women Beneficiary can apply for monthly pension by filling Online Application Form of Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress which are available at New Delhi Municipal Council Portal and E District Portal of Delhi Government.

Benefits

• The following monthly pension will be provided to all Eligible Women Beneficiaries under Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress :-
  • Rs. 2,500/- Monthly Pension to all Disabled Beneficiaries.

Eligibility

• Applicant should be Resident of Delhi for 5 Years.
• Applicant Women should be belong to any one of the below mentioned category :-
  • Widow.
  • Divorced.
  • Separated.
  • Destitute.
  • Abandoned.
• The Age of Applicant should be above 18 Years.
• The Annual Family Income of Women Beneficiary should should be less than Rs. 1,00,000/- per Year.
• Applicant should not be a receipant of any other Government of India/ Delhi Financial Assistance.

Document Required

• The below mentioned documents is required at the time of applying for Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress are as follows :-
  • Residence Proof of Delhi for 5 Years or Domicile.
  • Any Document to Proove Age.
  • Income Certificate or Self Declaration.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • BPL Card. (If Applicable)
  • Caste Certificate. (If Applicable)
  • Death Certificate of Husband. (In Case of Widow)
  • Decree of Divorce. (In Case of Divorcee)
  • Separation Paper. (In Case of Separated)
  • Passport Size Photo.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Bank Account Details.

Online Application Process

• Eligible Women can apply for Monthly Pension through Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress is available at E District Portal of Delhi Government.
• Beneficiary Women has to Register themselves on E District Portal.
• For Registration, Aadhar Card is mandatorily needed.
• Login on the portal after registration.
• Choose Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress from the Apply for Services Tab after Log In.
• Fill the Online Application Form of Women in Distress Pension Scheme.
• Upload all the required documents on the portal.
• Now Submit the Application Form of Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress.
• District Women and Child Development Officer will scrutinized the received Application Form.
• Financial Assistance of Rs. 2,500/- per Month as a Pension will be credited in the given bank account of Women Beneficiary.
• Eligible Women Beneficiaries can also apply for Monthly Pension under Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress on New Delhi Municipal Council. Portal.

Offline Application Process

• Eligible Women can also apply for Monthly Pension under Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress through Offline Application Form.
• Offline Application Form of Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress is available free of cost at any District Office of Women and Child Development Department.
• Take the Application Form from Office and Fill it Carefully.
• Attach all the required documents with it.
• Now Submit the Pension Application Form along with all the Documents in the District Office of Department of Women and Child Development.
• District Women and Child Development Officer will verified the received application forms of Pension Scheme to Women in Distress.
• After Verification, the monthly monthly pension of Rs. 2,500/- under Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress will be credited in the bank account of beneficiary.
