In Chitradurga District Government Hospital, maternity treatment for pregnant women is free but nothing is done without bribe. Even if we have BPL card, ayushman bharat card, document is of no use, all those who have government hospital in name are corrupt staff. The reason is that we have paid 5000 rupees to the doctor and 20,000 rupees to the other staff for giving birth on 4/5/2024 of this month. If the money is not paid, the doctor refuses to do the treatment and the staff scares the patients who come to the hospital to give blood on the pretext of blood test and collect the blood for more money in case of emergency. They demand that there is no normal bed system for pregnant women, they charge Rs 2000 and give them a special ward bed and the hospital is not clean. So please we request the authorities to investigate and take appropriate action against these hospital staff and give us justice.
