Assam Mukhyamantri Krishi Sa Sajuli Yojna

Introduction

• Mukhyamantri Krishi Sa Sajuli Yojna was launched in 2018 by Government of Assam.
• The objective of the scheme is to boost agricultural productivity by procurement of scientific farm implements.
• Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs.5000 will be provided to the eligible farmers of the state.
• The assistance provided is to promote the use of scientific farm implements in the state.
• Only small and marginal farmers of Assam are eligible under this scheme.
• The scheme will cover a total of 5 lakh farmers in the state.
• To apply for Mukhyamantri Krishi Sa Sajuli Yojna applicant need to submit the application form at Agriculture Department Office.

Eligibility

• Applicant should be a resident farmer of Assam.
• Only small and marginal farmers are eligible under this scheme.
• Age of the applicant should be more than 21 years.
• Only one farmer per family shall be eligible under this scheme.
• Applicant should be involved in farming for more than three consecutive years.
• All KCC card holder are eligible under this scheme.
• Tenant farmers, share croppers may also be considered subject to a minimum area of cultivation.
• Applicant should have a bank account.

Benefits

• Financial assistance of Rs.5000 to procure farm tools / Implements.
• The amount will be directly transferred into the beneficiary accounts.
• The scheme will cover a total of 5 lakh farmers in the state.

How to Apply

• To apply for Mukhyamantri Krishi Sa Sajuli Yojna applicant need to download the application form.
• Take a print of the form and fill out all the details.
• Now attach all the required documents and submit it at the Agricultural Department Office.
• Submitted application will be verified by the Agriculture Department.
• After successful verification, amount will be granted to the beneficiary.
