About The Scheme

• Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swavalamban Yojana has been launched by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
• Department of Finance, Planning and Investment, Arunachal Pradesh is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swavalamban Yojana, the state government is providing financial assistance in the form of subsidy on startup loans.
• The objective of this scheme is to encourage unemployed youth to get low cost capital to set up entrepreneurship.
• The following persons will be eligible under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swavalamban Yojana :-
  • Applicant Must be a Resident of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • Applicant should not be a defaulter in any bank.
  • Umeployed Youth having Degree/Diploma holders in Tourism & Hospitality, ITI or any other technical degree/diploma.
• The following benefits are provided under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swavalamban Yojana :-
  • Providing Bank Loans from 10 lakhs upto 1 crore rupees for setting up small and medium enterprises.
  • Provision of 30% back ended capital investment subsidy has been made for entrepreneurs.
  • Women entrepreneur will be eligible for 5% additional interest subsidy annually- must not become NPS.
• The cost of land and building shall be excluded from the project cost.
• Entrepreneurs would be required to contribute atleast 10% to 30% of the project cost as their contribution.
• The following four sectors are covered under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swavalamban Yojana scheme :-
  • Food-processing units.
  • Traditional textile.
  • Small scale manufacturing units /service centres/ diagnostic centres.
  • Eco-tourism.
• Eligible Persons Can Avail the benefits of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swavalamban Yojana by applying in the following manner:-
  • Through Stand Up India Scheme Portal.

Eligibility

• The following persons will be eligible under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swavalamban Yojana :-
  • Applicant Must be a Resident of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • Applicant should not be a defaulter in any bank.
  • Umeployed Youth having Degree/Diploma holders in Tourism & Hospitality, ITI.
  • Private doctors for opening of medical clinic and diagnostic centres.

Documents Required

• Proof of Identity:-
  • Adhar Card.
  • Voter's ID Card.
  • Driving License.
  • PAN Card.
  • Signature Identification from present bankers of proprietor(If a company).
• Proof of Residence:-
  • Recent Telephone Bills.
  • Electricity Bills.
  • Property Tax Receipt/ Passport/ Voter's ID Card of Proprietor (If a company).
• Proof of business Address.
• Documents to establish whether the applicant belongs to SC/ST Category.

Application Process

• Applicant can apply for Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swavalamban Yojana through Stand Up India Scheme Portal.
• Entrepreneurs will be required to be Registered under Stand Up India Scheme Portal.
• After the Registration Prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) on any of the eligible Activities.
• After this, the applicant will have to obtain the Application Form of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swavalamban Yojana.
• Now fill all the information asked in the application form completely.
• Also attach all the necessary documents with the application form.
• After filling all the information, the application form has to be submitted.
• After the application is submitted, the application form will be verified by the concerned authority.
• After the approval of the application form, the applicant will be informed.
