Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview
- The Andhra Pradesh government is making every possible effort for a cleaner and greener society for our coming generations.
- As we all know, greenhouse gases are one of the major contributors which is harming our environment.
- However, by implementing some changes we need to preserve our earth today for a better tomorrow.
- To achieve this, the Andhra Pradesh government announced a scheme called "Urjaveer Scheme".
- For the implementation of this scheme, the state government joins hands with the Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), which is a joint venture of PSUs under the Ministry of Power, GOI.
- The scheme announced is also known as "Andhra Pradesh Urjaveer Scheme" or "AP Urjaveer Yojana".
- The primary objective of the scheme is to raise awareness and encourage people for the adoption of energy efficient appliances across the state.
- To achieve this, the state government aims to train 1 Lakh individuals as 'Urjaveers'.
- These Urjaveer will promote energy efficient appliances developed by EESL across the state.
- This scheme will empower low income individuals (especially SHGs, Women's and others) to advocating the benefits of energy efficient appliances.
- For each product that Urjaveer sold can earn supplementary income up to Rs 15,000/- monthly.
- Basically this scheme aligns with global sustainability goals, primarily focusing on improving energy efficiency to address climate change issues.
- Anyone aged 18 or above with a valid Aadhaar Card and PAN Card can register for the Urjaveer Scheme.
- Selected Urjaveer will receive necessary skill development training, primarily focusing on energy efficiency.
- With this training, they can educate people within their communities about the benefit of using energy efficient appliances in their everyday usage.
- These energy efficient appliances consume less electricity, which leads to lower electricity bills.
- Incentives earned by the Urjaveer will be credited to their bank account between 10 to 20 of the following month.
- Eligible applicants can apply for the Urjaveer Scheme online through EESL Urjaveer portal.
- It is mandatory for the applicants to pay a fee of Rs. 21/- post registering.
- Portal will generate a unique Urjaveer Code through which they can sell energy efficient products.

Eligibility Requirements
- Benefits of AP Urjaveer Scheme will be provided to such applicants who meet the below mentioned criteria : -
- Applicants must be domiciled residents of Andhra Pradesh.
- Applicants minimum age should be 18 years.
- Applicants must possess a basic knowledge of the internet and smartphone.
Required Documents
- While registering online for Urjaveer Scheme, applicants must provide the following documents or its details : -
- Age Proof.
- PAN Card.
- Bank Passbook Details.
- Identity Proof.
- Address Proof.
- Passport Size Photograph.
- Mobile Number.
- Email ID.
Steps to Apply
- Eligible applicants can apply for the Andhra Pradesh Urjaveer Scheme Online.
- Application forms for Urjaveer Scheme are available at EESL Urjaveer Portal.
- It is important for the applicant to first register on the portal whose process is discussed below.
Registration Process
- Open the EESL Urjaveer Website i.e. https://eeslmart.in/Urjaveer.
- Select the 'Register' tab from the home page and Urjaveer Registration form will appear.
- In the registration form applicants need to share its following details : -
- Name of the Applicant.
- Email ID.
- Mobile Number.
- Choose Citizenship from the list.
- Validate Your Mobile Number by submitting the OTP received.
- Set Your Password and Check the Box to agree with the terms and conditions.
- Press the "Register" tab once the above steps are successfully obeyed.
- Upon successful registration, applicants will receive an Email, where they need to go through the following process.
Application Process
- Successfully registered applicants need to login with the details received.
- Select the Login tab from the home page.
- Enter your mobile number/ Email ID and password (those who have not created a password can login through OTP).
- Applicants need to pay the Urjaveer Scheme Fee i.e. Rs. 21/- including GST.
- After this, they need to upload their document to complete the KYC and verify other documents.
- Go through the study material and check your skills by answering the given MCQs.
- Post this, applicants will receive a certificate and Urjaveer QR Code.
- Once the Urjaveer Unique QR Code is generated, applicants can start selling EESL products and earn money.
